Our Services

Why Visit us?.

We are here to provide answers to parents regarding their children's health and development. If your infant, child or adolescent is not feeling well, having symptoms that concern you such as fever, vomiting, diarrhea or something else, we are here to evaluate your sick child.

All of your children need annual well visits and preventive care where we will discuss important age-appropriate topics with you and them. These topics range from normal growth and development, and evolution of motor and cognitive skills. We also will talk to your pre-teenage boy or girl about changes in their bodies that they can expect during puberty. We will help your family make your home a safe, healthy and happy environment to raise your children.

All children need vaccines (immunizations) before entering school, and we provide that service in partnership with the State of Georgia’s “Vaccine for Children” program. Your child will receive all the school forms he/she needs to enter school, including their vaccine record, and the required hearing/ vision/ nutrition screening documents schools require (Forms 3231 & 3300).

A good relationship between you and your child’s primary health care providers is of great importance to maximize the health and quality of life of yourchildre/our patients throughout their childhood and adolescence.

At IPC we have many clinical services and access to health resources to help you prevent any unnecessary visits to Urgent Care clinics or the hospital ER (Emergency Room).

Well Check Visits

Well-child visits are key times for communication. Expect to be given information about normal development, nutrition, sleep, safety, diseases that are "going around" and other important topics.

Make the most of these visits by writing down important questions and concerns to bring with you. Special attention is paid to whether the child is meeting normal developmental milestones. For this reason we are encouraging ALL our new and established patients to download and use the certified smartphone (android or iphone) application created by the U.S.

Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) just for your children, called “Milestone Tracker” available in English and SPanish and easy to use. follow the link to get your families and staff at the IPC offices will be glad to assist you in setting up. CDC’s Milestone Tracker App | CDC:

The height, weight, and head circumference are recorded on a growth chart, which the health care provider keeps with the child's medical record. This can be a great start for a discussion about your child's health. Ask your doctor about the body mass index (BMI) curve, which is the most important tool for identifying and preventing obesity.

Sports Physicals

What Is a Sports Physical?

Most all High Schools in Georgia require you and your young athlete to complete the GHSA Pre Particpation Sports Physical. You with your child complete the personal and family medical history and come to the IPC clinic and we will take care of the rest.

Our Services

Medical Forms

In the sports medicine field, the sports physical exam is known as a pre-participation physical examination (PPE). The exam helps determine whether it's safe for you to participate in a certain sport. Most states actually require that kids and teens have a sports physical before they can start a new sport or begin a new competitive season. But even if a sports physical isn't required, doctors still highly recommend getting one.
