We help you take care of your child after a hospital stay. Appointments We have opened our morning “Walk-In” clinic hours from 6:30 am to 8:30 am without an appointment six days weekly. Also, you may call the International Clinics, P.C to make an appointment today (770-732-6007) or you may request a ‘consultation” with a Patient Care Coordinator if your family or child has special needs, for a prenatal visit, or to schedule a visit with a sub-specialist.
Sixty Years ago a young father of two small daughters and a young wife, left his family home in Colombia to take care of the most vulnerable women and children in the impoverished deep south of the U.S.A. Arriving in 1959, he found cultural tensions high and a mighty struggle ongoing among the poor black minority, led by Dr. Martin Luther King, a black Pastor from Atlanta Georgia. Dr. Eduardo Montaña, Sr. practice general pediatrics in rural North Georgia for thirty years before settling in the “New South” of Metropolitan Atlanta where a burgeoning Hispanic community had begun to lay roots. Today our Georgia Hispanic community is one of the largest in the nation. Strengthened by the philosophy that every man, woman, and child deserve “High Quality Healthcare regardless of race, culture or religion”, Dr. Eduardo, as he was known, created several successful general pediatric clinics and assisted in the creation of a larger perinatal clinic for expecting mothers. Today, the International Clinics represent the culmination of Dr. Eduardo’s long journey serving tens of thousands Hispanic minority families throughout North Georgia counties forming part of Metropolitan Atlanta. Providing High Quality Pediatric care are his son Dr. Ed also trained in Pediatric Cardiology and Family Preventive Medicine and his wife Juliana, a newborn specialist, and Respiratory Therapist. Meeting all standards of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the International Clinics are proud of their long history of providing high quality care to our community.
