She is a board Certified pediatric nurse practitioner with over 25 years experience in health care. A Marietta native, she received her first nursing degree at Kennesaw State University. Upon graduation she began her career at Kennestone hospital in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She later relocated to Hawaii and continued her career in the Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care units at Kapiolani Hospital in Honolulu. Upon returning to her home state of Georgia, she decided to follow her long time dream of becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner and graduated with her Master’s degree in Pediatric Primary Care Nursing from Georgia State University in 2019. She holds special interest in newborn care and pediatric mental health. She is the proud mom to a teenage daughter and in her free time enjoys traveling and spending time with her Pug, Dachsund, and rescue cat.
